Something that I was encouraged about this week in our passage, is how little Peter really knew about Jesus, but how excited Jesus was to commission Peter to be a part of His church. In many ways we know far more than Peter and the other disciples and even when we get it wrong (which we all do at times) Jesus corrects us and calls us to know Him better and who we are in Him. Isn't He good to us!
